CHRISTOPHER
ROBINSON was born in 1936
and educated at Rugny and Christ
Church, Oxford. He came to
Worcester Cathedral in 1962 as
assistant organist, and became
Organist a year later when
Douglas Guest moved on to
Westminster Abbay. His musical
activities extend beyond the
organ loft. He was principal
conductor of the Worcester Three
Choirs Festival in 1966, has
been conductor of the City of
Birmingham Choir since 1964 and
has deputised for Sir Malcolm
Sargent as conductor of the
Royal Choral Society.
