This
LP is the first "grab bag" of unrealeased
recordings lying in Columbia's ice-box,
partly for lack of suitable companions,
partly as fragments of unfinished
projects. The second LP staged Gould's
alleged "hysteric return" to the concert
hass as part of a radio fantasy-aboard an
oil rig in the Beaufort Sea, far away in
the Canadian north!
